March 30, 2017 – Landscape Ontario’s Lawn Care Sector Group, in partnership with the St. Lawrence Market BIA and Project Evergreen will be holding their annual community clean-up of St. James Park in Toronto on April 22, 2017.
Organizers are in need of the following:
- Rake and blower crews (and equipment)
- Bed and edging crews
- Mulch (and mulching crews)
- Aerating equipment and crews
- Fertilizing equipment and crews
- Volunteer labour
Members of the local community are also participating and are very appreciative of the help from the landscape profession. A hot breakfast and coffee are provided for all volunteers. Bring a rake, a blower, or just yourself.
Members are asked to arrive at 7:30 a.m. and organizers expect the clean-up to last just three hours.
The event is a great way to showcase your expertise and give back to a great community.
