Toronto Mayor Rob Ford thanks organizers and contributors to the St. James Park revitalization project at the Landscape Ontario Awards of Excellence Ceremony held on January 10, 2012.



Member companies of Landscape Ontario and the Nursery Sod Growers Association pulled off an amazing restoration of St. James Park in Toronto over a two-day blitz at no cost to Toronto taxpayers. All of the equipment, labour and materials were generously donated by companies and individuals in the landscape industry.



The first of 8,000 trees were planted along a 10 km stretch of Veterans Memorial Parkway in London, Ontario to kick start a project to create a living memorial to Canada's veterans.
